Join Our Dynamic Onsite Technical Team at IPL Telford! We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Inspector to become a vital part of our onsite Technical Team at our Nuts & Dried Fruit site in Telford. If you are passionate about Technical and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you!
Position Details
- Schedule: Thursday & Friday Days (08:30am - 05:00pm)
- Location: IPL Telford - Site Based
- Contract Type: Permanent, PART TIME - 16 Hours Per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Raw material intake sampling, testing and inspection is completed and stock is released in a timely manner for use in production
- Non-conforming product is controlled to prevent use or despatch to Asda
- Start up checks completed by production are checked and countersigned for each job
- Mixes are verified to ensure units of measure and calculations are correct
- Calibrated equipment is checked periodically to ensure accuracy is maintained
- Lines are released back into production following cleaning using swabs and visual inspection as appropriate
- Moth monitors are checked according to the schedule
- Consumable stocks are checked, rotated and maintained
- Any food safety, authenticity, legality or quality issues are escalated and assist in investigations
- Glass / Hard Plastic and GMP (factory inspections) are completed to schedule
- The environmental monitoring program is maintained
