About The Role
Join Our Dynamic Onsite Warehouse Team at IPL Whittlesey. We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Key Operative to become a vital part of our onsite Warehouse Team at our House Plants & Flowers site in Whittlesey. If you are passionate about Production and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you.
Position Details:
- Schedule: 7am - 6pm, Sunday - Wednesday
- Location: IPL Whittlesey - Site Based Role
- Contract Type: Secondment - 7 months
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Efficient Picking, Packing, and Dispatching: You will handle the picking, packing, and dispatching of goods with precision and speed, always prioritising safety and accuracy.
- Receiving and Checking Stock: You will manage the receipt and inspection of incoming stock, ensuring all labels and temperatures are correct, and products are stored properly.
- Paperwork Management: You will complete all necessary paperwork for Goods In, Goods Out, and Picking, ensuring everything is documented accurately.
- Waste Management: You will safely dispose of waste according to company processes, segregating it as needed.
- MHE Truck Duties: You will operate MHE trucks, conducting daily safety checks and following all warehouse guidelines.
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment is essential, specifically within a warehouse/manufacturing/pack house/produce background.
- You should have a Forklift Truck Licence and a good understanding of warehousing/store processes and procedures, along with the possession of manual handling training.
- With the ability to work under pressure, you should also have good attention to detail and good communication skills.
