We currently have an exciting opportunity for a HR Lead to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a global business with a £2 billion + turnover.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the HR team with day to day HR activities
- Manage Long Term Sickness from welfare meetings through to returning to work/medical termination
- Deal with HR queries
- Process weekly payroll hours for a selection of the workforce
- Schedule, support and offer guidance in absence reviews and write outcome letters
- Schedule, support and offer guidance in grievance reviews and write outcome letters
- Schedule, support and offer guidance in disciplinary meetings and write outcome letters
- Run various reports using the Time & Attendance System to produce information for the team and management
- Refer colleagues to Occupational Health and deal with follow up meetings
- Produce KPI reports on a weekly basis
- Assist the HR Manager with projects
- Coach and develop Leaders that will improve performance and create a more engaged team and allow leaders to manage their own teams
- Act as a champion to promote a culture that inspires colleagues to perform their highest potential, whilst ensuring the people plans are in place for future business opportunities enhancing career development and colleague engagement
- Maintain excellent communication within the team
- Ensure a safe working environment is kept for all colleagues
- Report any Health & Safety issues to the Management
What Are We Looking For?
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Proven track record of Senior HR Advisor experience
- IT literacy
- Excellent organisation skills
- Excellent customer service
- Team player
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Attention to detail
- Up to CIPD level 5 and/or relevant experience
