Established in 1984 by volunteer doctors and nurses, International Medical Corps is a private, voluntary, nonpolitical, nonsectarian organization. Its mission is to improve the quality of life through health interventions and related activities that build local capacity in areas worldwide.

This position will support International Medical Corps’ emergency response delivering outpatient clinical care to disaster‑affected populations.

JOB SUMMARY

The ENT Specialist provides clinical care related to ear, nose, and throat conditions within a medical facility supporting both outpatient, inpatient, and surgical services. The role includes evaluation, diagnosis, medical and surgical management of ENT conditions, participation in emergency response, and contribution to multidisciplinary clinical care.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide outpatient consultations for ear, nose, and throat conditions.
  • Diagnose and treat ENT infections, hearing disorders, sinus conditions, and throat diseases.
  • Perform ENT surgical and procedural interventions as required.
  • Provide inpatient consultations and post‑operative care for admitted patients.
  • Support treatment for airway emergencies and trauma‑related ENT injuries.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests related to ENT conditions and collaborate with radiology and laboratory services regarding these conditions.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary patient care discussions and referrals.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, infection prevention standards, and patient safety guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with completion of a post‑graduate training program in Otolaryngology/ENT.
  • Valid medical license and current ENT board certification.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience in ENT practice.
  • Experience in both outpatient and inpatient care settings.
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary and emergency response environments.
  • Fluency in English required.
