Merchandise Manager

An exciting opportunity has come up for a merchandise manager to join a busy and reputable business in their busy Bangladesh location.
The role is a new but integral part of the team and you will need to have experience within buying and / or sourcing offices with the EU market.
The role:
• Review new business, and capacity within suppliers
• Set objectives, to improve reliability, service, and calibre of team
• Review costings, and look at ways to improve margins
• Recruit, train and develop merchandisers
The candidate:
• Previous experience in a busy buying or sourcing office, with woven products
• Experience working with European customers
• Able to manage a high turnover, as well as big teams
• Excellent communication skills in English to deal with colleagues and buyers
