The predicted salary is between 25419 - 28300 £ per year.

Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, which may include early, late and weekend shifts.

Salary: £25,419 per annum with an additional incentive for holders of a valid forklift licence.

The role Warehouse Operations are at the heart of what we do. Our customers choose ILG because our attention to detail across services like picking, embroidery and engraving adds something special to their brand. As a Warehouse Assistant – Goods In you are involved in every aspect of the smooth running of the Goods In department and warehouse as a whole when required. This includes:

  • Working closely with Customer Services, Sales and external customers to organise and maintain the incoming delivery schedule.
  • Receiving stock and placing in designated areas prior to being booked in.
  • Booking in stock in accordance with client service level agreement and delivery manifest.
  • Processing returns in accordance with procedure.
  • Ensuring that cycle counts of stock are completed as per service level agreement.
  • Assisting with picking, packing and dispatching as required.
  • Active involvement with continuous improvement projects and training.

What we are looking for:

  • Capable IT skills and ability to learn our bespoke warehousing IT system.
  • Previous experience of warehouse Goods In activities (desirable).
  • Experience in a role requiring accuracy, attention to detail and good numeracy skills.
  • An awareness of the importance of health and safety in a warehousing environment.
  • Reliable and conscientious – a good timekeeper.
  • Clear communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Physically fit enough to work in a role where the vast majority of the day is standing and requires some lifting.
  • Warehouse experience (essential).
  • Forklift experience (desirable).
