Part-time Skincare Specialist, 12 Month Maternity Cover

About this role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Skincare Specialist to join our wonderful team of dedicated professionals in Harvey Nichols, Knightsbridge. The successful candidate will demonstrate superb customer service skills and have previous experience working in a comparable high end, luxury environment. You will thrive in a target driven role, enjoy building rapport and relationships with clients and creating bespoke skincare plans on an individual basis.

This is a part-time role, and we require someone who can work four days a week (28 hours). This individual will need to work on a rota covering weekends and early and late shifts. This is a 12-month maternity contract. While this role is predominantly based at Harvey Nichols, Knightsbridge, we may need this person to be flexible to cover shifts in Selfridges, Harrods and SpaceNK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting in-depth skin consultations using the latest skin imaging technology.
  • Recommending bespoke skincare packages across all brands for clients post consultation.
  • Create and implement on-counter activity, traffic stopping and events to drive incremental retail sales and achieve daily retail targets and KPIs.
  • Deliver exceptional game-changing customer service.
  • Ensure counter is at full occupancy by raising awareness and introducing new clients to the brands.
  • Accurate recording of sales and client data, compliant with GDPR.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • An NVQ Level 3 in beauty (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential as full training will be given for those willing to learn how to perform skin treatments.
  • Proven experience in skincare and beauty sales, ideally in a premium retail environment.
  • A passion for beauty and results driven skincare.
  • Positive can-do attitude: we believe in having a positive and optimistic attitude about everything we do because it inspires others to have the same.
  • Proactive approach to sales.
