About the Role

This is not a “post and report” role. It is a collaborative, commercially aware social media role focused on growing engaged communities, strengthening brand authority and supporting wider business objectives. The Senior Social Media Executive is responsible for shaping how our brands show up across social platforms — ensuring content is engaging, platform-relevant and aligned with brand strategy.

The role is responsible for:

  • Defining social channel strategy and platform approach
  • Translating campaign objectives into clear social and creative briefs
  • Supporting engaging social content across our brand portfolio
  • Managing community interaction and engagement
  • Monitoring performance and sharing actionable insights

Brand teams define positioning and messaging, Creative leads visual production, and Social ensures content is optimised for social channels and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Channel Strategy & Briefing Across Four Brands
  • Work in close collaboration with Brand Owners and the Creative team to deliver engaging, on-brand social content
  • Define platform-specific channel strategy across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and emerging platforms
  • Translate campaign objectives into clear creative briefs for the Creative team
  • Ensure content aligns with brand positioning, campaign priorities and commercial focus
  • Input into seasonal campaign planning alongside Brand and Creative teams
  • Align social activity with PR, marketing campaigns, product launches and key industry events
  • Ensure tone of voice and brand storytelling are translated consistently and appropriately across social channels

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role will be measured through:

  • Year-on-year growth in engagement rate
  • Consistent follower growth across priority platforms
  • Increase in saves and shares on educational content
  • Growth in video views and completion rates
  • Increased traffic from social to key website pages

This role supports commercial growth through influence, visibility and engagement, rather than direct paid revenue attribution.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience managing Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn platforms
  • Experience using planning and activation tools (e.g. Sprinklr or similar)
  • Confident shooting and editing short-form mobile video
  • Knowledge of CapCut or similar video editing platforms
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret engagement and performance data
  • Experience supporting Meta boosting (desirable)
  • Experience using AI tools for research, trend analysis and ideation
  • Highly collaborative working style
