What we’re looking for:
- Energetic and inspiring Activity Leaders who enjoy meeting people from all over the world.
- GCSEs (A*-C) or equivalent.
- Experience working with children.
- English proficiency level of C1+.
- Background in arts, crafts, sports or tourism (desirable).
- A positive, flexible, “can-do” attitude.
- Good communication skills.
- A commitment to creating safe, inclusive spaces for all students.
- Ability to work as part of a team and under pressure.
What the Job Is About:
As a summer school Activity Leader, you will organise and lead on-site activities for students (ages 8-17), ensuring a fun, safe, and engaging environment. You will supervise off-site excursions and support student welfare, helping create memorable experiences. The role may also include being part of our airport meet & greet team, designing memorable creative sessions or putting together excursion plans and itineraries. You will be part of a friendly team, receive paid induction training, and benefit from ongoing CPD throughout your contract.
Salary: £626.74 per week (£559.24 + 12.07% holiday pay)
Contract details:
- Contracts available from 1-6 weeks, depending on operational needs.
- Up to 44 hours per week across six days with one full day off per week.
- Evening and weekend work expected as part of the residential schedule.
- Free accommodation in single rooms with staff-only shared bathrooms.
- Three meals a day + free tea and coffee.
Locations:
- Oxford – St Edward’s School (ages 8–17) - 1st July – 12th August 2026.
- Frensham – Frensham Heights School (ages 12–17) - 8th July – 5th August 2026.
