International House London is currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Croatian/Serbian teacher to join our growing Foreign Languages team. The role primarily involves teaching adults on our 6-week Evening face-to-face courses at our school in Covent Garden from 18:30 to 20:30.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality language lessons to adult learners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of courses and maintain consistent teaching standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Croatian/Serbian.
  • Fluent English.
  • Initial teaching qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant teaching experience to adults.
  • Clear Police Record and Enhanced DBS.
  • Possess a CELTA, Trinity TESOL or DELTA.
  • QTS.
  • Hold a degree in Modern Languages.

This is a part-time position. We are looking for a teacher to deliver in-person courses on weekday evenings (18:30 – 20:30). More hours can be offered in the afternoon and weekends to the right candidates.

Competitive salary depending on experience (range: £92 per hour).
