Your role

We are looking for a qualified, enthusiastic, and dynamic French teacher (FLE – Français Langue Étrangère) to teach face-to-face adult evening classes at our central London school. This role is ideal for those who love teaching adults in a multicultural environment and are looking for a supportive, development-focused workplace.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality French lessons
  • Prepare interactive materials that make language learning enjoyable
  • Monitor progress and provide motivating feedback
  • Promote a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment
  • Promote our social programme events
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure teaching consistency
  • Participate in CPD (Continuing Professional Development) activities
  • Complete course-related administration: Maintain accurate attendance records and Update SharePoint with relevant class documentation in a timely manner

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Right to work in the UK and currently UK-based
  • Native or near-native French (C2 level)
  • Fluent in English
  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • At least 2 years’ experience teaching adults
  • Enhanced DBS & Clear Police Record
  • University Degree

Desirable:

  • CELTA, Trinity TESOL, DELTA or QTS
  • Degree in Modern Languages

Working Hours

This is a part-time evening role (Mon–Fri, 18:30–20:30). Additional afternoon or weekend hours may be available for the right candidate.
