We are pleased to welcome a student for an internship within the IT Services team at IGI. This placement provides valuable exposure to the operations of an enterprise-level IT team. The intern will gain practical experience by assisting with IT support tasks and learning through guided participation.

Objectives
- Provide a foundational understanding of IT support roles in a corporate environment.
- Offer hands-on exposure through observation and basic participation in IT-related tasks.
- Encourage learning and engagement with various aspects of IT operations and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Shadow IT team members as they carry out support, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Observe how user support tickets are logged, managed, and resolved.
- Assist with basic physical tasks such as:
- Organising and labelling IT equipment.
- Supporting with equipment setup in meeting rooms.
- Managing inventory of IT assets (under supervision).
- Attend team meetings and informal training sessions.
- Learn about key areas such as networking, cybersecurity basics, and service desk procedures.
