Based at our Wellingborough site, the Commercial Assistant will provide essential support to the account management team by assisting with new briefs, wins, pricing, and technical queries. It will be required to build a solid and trustful relationship with the customers, supported by colleagues from the various departments such as designers, operations, supply chain, quality and regulatory.

The Commercial Assistant will also organize sample orders and serve as a critical point of contact for customers when account managers are unavailable. Additionally, they will be responsible for setting up new products on the system and ensuring accurate pricing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist account managers with new briefs, wins, pricing requests, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Answer technical queries from customers, liaising with the technical team as needed to provide accurate information.
  • Organize sample orders on the system, managing customer inquiries related to samples.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for customers when account managers are traveling or unavailable.
  • Set up new products on the system, ensuring that pricing information is accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate customer’s Factory Trials together with the customer service team.
  • Collaborate with account managers and other relevant departments to streamline processes and drive efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pricing, and product information.
