A key member of the Quality team deputising for the Technical Manager. Leading the internal audit programme, ensuring an on-going programme of continuous improvement across the site.
Job Requirements
As a Quality Systems Coordinator, you will be responsible for…
- Deputise for the Technical Manager as required.
- Lead the internal audit programme. Maintain and review the schedule and action log. Complete regular audits to ensure compliance with the QMS and to maintain GMP.
- Ensure all standards in the company’s HACCP and Quality Systems are adhered to and all documentation is correctly completed. Co-ordinate regular review of all documentation by the document owners.
- Site lead for documents control.
- Keep abreast of current regulation pertinent to the business. Ensuring that regulatory changes are reflected in the documentation. Work closely with the Quality, NPD, and Production teams, ensuring procedures comply with BRC Standards, are up to date, relevant and updated accordingly.
- Raise, review, and close out non-conformances.
- Conduct risk assessments on processes, aligning business need with quality requirements.
- Approve and review raw materials and suppliers. Keeping paperwork up to date and compliant to relevant regulation. Liaise with Procurement to ensure supply chain concerns are controlled from a safety, legal and quality perspective.
- Lead by example and encourage Good Manufacturing & Hygiene practices throughout site.
- Participate in all quality meetings such as HACCP reviews.
- Assist with all external audits such as BRC, customer and EHO.
- Manage own continued professional development. Participate in internal and external training as directed.
