We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accountant within Logistics, this will be based at our head office in Wakefield. You will accurately report the logistics costs, consolidating site performance into an overall view to allow informed decision making on the logistics cost base. You will business partner site and central teams and support with the management of key third party relationships.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead on the weekly cost reporting for logistics, consolidating submissions from site teams and third party providers.
  • Manage the period end close for logistics costs including analysis and reconciliations of key cost lines and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support on the logistics outturn/forecast with detailed variance analysis helping to explain both week on week and vs budget performance.
  • Review the weekly performance of third party providers, challenging performance and commentary provided.
