Who are we?
IFC is part of a fast-growing group of companies, including Nor-Sea Foods and Nolan Seafoods with sites in Fraserburgh and Aberdeen. It produces a variety of quality fish products largely under private label for a worldwide customer base. We trade principally in the Pelagic species – Mackerel, Herring and Sprats, Whitefish – Haddock and Whiting.
What is the job?
IFC – based beside Fraserburgh Harbour – are actively recruitingGeneral Operativesfor various shifts as follows:
- 7.00am-4.30pm or 6.30am-4.00pm on the 9-day fortnight (every 2nd Friday off)
- 15:00-23:00 Monday to Friday
- 09:00 – 19:30 Monday to Thursday
- 22:00 – 06:00 Sunday to Thursday
- 06:30 – 14:00 Saturday and Sunday
Previous experience would be an advantage, but not necessary as full training will be given.

We offer permanent contracts for both part time and full time (after completion of probationary period).
All training and PPE are paid for, various training courses are available, and PPE is laundered by the Company.

Overtime is available and worked on a voluntary basis. Premium rates are paid for all overtime. Shift allowance is paid for staff on backshift.
Discretionary annual bonus system and long service holidays are also awarded.
