Our client is one of the largest independent award-winning financial services and insurance brokers, with over a twenty-two-year pedigree of operations in the Gulf Region. They opened a new office in Kuwait in May 2013. As a well-established Insurance Brokerage in the Middle East, their client bank reflects the local population, and their team of established Financial Consultants serve clients in every community. They offer a full range of life insurance, savings and investment products, as well as commercial insurance, employee benefits and personal lines insurance, supported by a first-class administration team. They are looking for experienced financial services advisers and consultants, ideally already operating in the Kuwait market, though relocation help is available.
Their Financial Consultants operate in teams, managed by experienced Sales Managers who help you network, understand client needs, and find the right solution for each customer.
Responsibilities- Prospects, develops and closes new business clients
- Remain abreast of market, industry and regulatory developments and develop a personal network to increase knowledge
- Arrange client meetings and attend when required
- Resolve escalated complaints and disputes, and manage high levels of client service
- Contact clients to arrange in-depth meetings to understand financial goals, then generate proposals to help them achieve those goals
- Keep up-to-date files relating to dealings with customers
- Identify clients' insurance and financial needs and offer appropriate advice
- Increase short- and long-term persistency of the company book of policies
- Arrange regular meetings with existing customers to review and ensure their insurance and financial requirements are met
- Inform customers of new financial and insurance products or regulatory changes that may affect their plans
- Present the range of general insurance products available to address client needs
- Stay up to date with current products and regulatory requirements in the area of work
- Analyze information and prepare plans suited to individual clients' needs
- Research the marketplace and provide clients with information on new and existing products and services
- Liaise with head office and financial services providers
- Coordinate with other professionals such as estate agents, solicitors and accountants

2-3 years of experience in an independent financial advisory capacity / brokerage. Chartered Insurance Institute qualifications would be a distinct advantage.
