Our British client in Spain is seeking an experienced and dedicated Independent Financial Advisor for an exciting opportunity to showcase expertise in the financial sector. They are a leading financial advisory firm based in Marbella, specializing in providing holistic financial advice to Expats living in the EU and also Switzerland.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert financial advice and guidance to clients, addressing their unique financial goals, challenges, and aspirations.
- Conduct thorough financial assessments and analyses to develop customized financial plans aligned with client objectives.
- Offer recommendations on investment strategies, retirement planning, estate planning, tax optimization, and other relevant financial matters.
- Leverage strong relationship-building skills to generate leads through proactive networking, referrals, and marketing initiatives to expand the client base.
- Utilize active listening and emotional intelligence to understand client needs and offer solutions that address both their financial and emotional concerns.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through persuasive, confident communication and ongoing support.
- Demonstrate persistence in following up with potential clients, overcoming objections, and closing sales.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge financial solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Independent Financial Advisor, with a track record of success in delivering top-notch financial services.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning principles, investment products, and regulatory requirements.
- Sales-focused mindset with excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining high levels of productivity and professionalism.
- Goal-oriented with a drive to exceed client expectations and meet sales targets.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISI or CII level 4, CFP, CFA, Series 7) preferred.
- Fluency in English; additional languages such as Spanish, German, or French are a plus.
