Our new client out in Singapore is looking for an experienced financial advisor who would like to come to Singapore and build their career with them in this popular and regulated financial services center. Our client needs someone specifically who can look after an existing book of business.

Our client specializes in wealth management, investments, insurance planning, and comprehensive financial planning, with a commitment to ensuring lifelong financial success and independence for its clients. The firm prioritizes its client’s financial goals, delivering impartial and comprehensive financial advice tailored to their interests and needs. Backed by thorough research, our client provides access to the most suitable financial products, including life insurance, investment solutions, retirement planning, and education planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive financial advisory services to an established client base.
• Develop personalized financial plans encompassing investments, insurance, retirement, and estate planning.
• Stay abreast of market trends and regulatory changes to offer informed advice.
• Foster and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

For Local Candidates:

• Regulatory Status: Must be currently residing in Singapore and authorized by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) to provide financial advisory services.
• Experience: Proven track record in financial advisory, with a deep understanding of the local market.
• Academic Credentials: You would need any rcognized university degree, unless you’re a permanent resident.

For International Candidates

• Academic Credentials: You would need any rcognized university degree.
• Examination Requirements: Prior to commencing employment in Singapore, candidates must pass the relevant modules of the Capital Markets and Financial Advisory Services (CMFAS) Examination, specifically: M5, M8, M8A, M9, M9A, HI
• Regulatory Compliance: Successful lodging of a notification with MAS upon completion of the CMFAS examinations, as required before conducting any regulated activities in Singapore. Our client will assist and guide those coming from abroad with all local regulatory requirements.

Salary: $10k per month then bonuses on top of that.

Please note: This position would typically suit experienced investment advisory candidates who want to come and work in Singapore, or are already living and working in Singapore. A minimum of three (3) years experience working in the wealth management industry is a requirement. This position is NOT for someone from the accounting / auditing or financial management profession. This is a client facing, sales and targets driven profession. Please only apply if you have the required experience.
