About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and people-oriented HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our retail operations across the UK (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland) and Ireland. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to store and regional management teams, providing hands-on HR guidance and implementing people strategies that align with business objectives and company values. This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional seeking to develop within a fast-paced, multi-site retail environment while contributing directly to the growth and engagement of our teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with retail and store leadership teams to understand business priorities and provide proactive HR support across all people-related matters.
- Advise on employee relations issues, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant application of policies and procedures.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives to attract and develop top retail talent.
- Implement learning, development, and engagement programs to strengthen team capability and morale.
- Monitor workforce metrics (turnover, absence, performance) and provide actionable insights to improve efficiency and employee experience.
- Collaborate closely with internal HR teams (Talent, Payroll, L&D, and Compensation) to ensure seamless HR service delivery.
- Support organizational change and continuous improvement of HR processes.
- Ensure compliance with UK and Irish employment law and internal HR policies.
About You
- 2–3 years’ experience in an HR Generalist or Business Partnering role, ideally within retail, hospitality, or another fast-paced, multi-site environment.
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices (knowledge of Irish legislation a plus).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of the organization.
- Proactive, adaptable, and capable of balancing strategic input with hands-on execution.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Native or bilingual English; Italian is an advantage.
