The Student Advisor (Adscripto/a) is responsible for supporting, guiding, and supervising students, collaborating with the School Leadership in academic and disciplinary management, promoting a positive institutional climate, and ensuring compliance with internal regulations and the provisions of the Uruguayan education system.
Main Responsibilities
- Monitor student attendance, punctuality, and behaviour.
- Follow up on academic and behavioural situations.
- Meet with students and families when necessary.
- Promote respectful coexistence and compliance with internal school regulations.
Support to School Leadership
- Assist in implementing institutional policies and procedures.
- Participate in coordination meetings with teachers and the management team.
- Prepare disciplinary and student follow-up reports.
- Support the organization of academic and institutional activities.
Communication
- Act as a liaison between students, teachers, families, and School Leadership.
- Inform families about relevant situations related to student performance or behaviour.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with current regulations established by ANEP and/or the relevant educational authorities.
- Ensure the proper application of the school's internal regulations.
Requirements
- Accredited teaching qualification or training in Education (preferred).
- Previous experience in educational institutions (preferred).
- Knowledge of the Uruguayan education system.
- Good command of basic IT tools.
