We are seeking a talented individual to join our Enterprise team at Marsh Commercial. This role will be based in Bristol. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least four days a week in the office.

The role: Client Advisor

We have an exciting opportunity here at Marsh Commercial, as we’re looking to recruit a number of Client Advisors to join us in our Enterprise Centre of Excellence. Within your role you’ll be responsible for servicing both new & existing clients with a range of commercial insurance products.

For this role we are happy to consider those without prior insurance experience, as well as those with a background in personal lines or commercial insurance. If successful you’ll be provided with a first-class induction, as well as be given the opportunity to attain chartered insurance qualifications.

Once you have received initial training and support, you will be responsible for servicing a dedicated portfolio of clients. This can involve managing renewals, invoicing, producing new quotes, upselling/cross selling additional products whilst handling any additional queries that are presented.

We will rely on you to:

  • Provide excellent client service on all aspects of account management to our clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards.
  • Ensure timely completion of all set tasks ensuring client satisfaction at all times.
  • Demonstrate your adaptability skills when required in order to support colleagues in completing business critical tasks.
  • Develop meaningful working relationships with our insurer partners through regular contact and liaison to better serve our clients.
  • Through training, coaching and mentoring, have a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance that we offer our clients and keep abreast of new technical and product developments.

What you need to have:

  • Ideally you’ll have a minimum of 1 year’s experience within insurance; however, this is not essential as full training can be provided.
  • Strong literacy, numeracy, administration and communication skills that can be demonstrated via qualifications/grades gained during education.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
  • Experience utilizing the Microsoft Office suite and similar products.
