Full Stack Software Developer with first class coding skills in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework, SQL Server, JavaScript and Angular to join a growing software company based in Surrey. The successful candidate will be part of a small, dedicated development team within the organisation which will be responsible for creating, enhancing and maintaining a varied range of business portals including a replacement for the company's extremely popular, international platform. This exciting company is currently experiencing a period of growth and will require the successful candidate to play an active role in the adoption of the Agile methodology, participating in all aspects of the product development life cycle. This is an excellent opportunity to join a new multi-skilled team that places great emphasis on high quality software development, teamwork and personal development.
Core competencies:
- Extensive knowledge of the C#/ASP.NET/MVC/EF/T-SQL environment is essential, as is a strong understanding of object-oriented software development using the SOLID principles.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Angular is required.
- Proven experience of modern testing methods such as unit, integration and full end-to-end testing.
- Experience of data integration including web services, SOAP and RESTful APIs – XML, JSON, WSDL, WADL, etc.
- Experience of agile development techniques – TDD, BDD, etc.
- Good knowledge of SQL Server and other RDBMS systems.
- Familiarity with relational database design techniques as well as data warehouse design methodologies.
- Creative problem-solving and strong architectural design experience to develop workable solutions.
- Excellent written skills to disseminate solution documentation with clarity, focus and detail.
- Ability to speak confidently on technical subjects with limited preparation, commanding respect and authority, and to liaise with clients on difficult or sensitive topics.
