Essential criteria
- Experience teaching Economics and Business Studies at GCSE/iGCSE and A Level.
- Strong knowledge of microeconomics, macroeconomics, business strategy and finance.
- Ability to teach data interpretation, evaluation and structured examination responses.
- Experience adapting lessons, assessing progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Strong communication, organisation and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and student wellbeing.
Desirable criteria
- QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification, with a relevant degree.
- Experience teaching online or within an international school.
- Confidence using Microsoft Teams and digital teaching resources.
- Experience using current affairs, economic data and business case studies in lessons.
- Experience supporting students with English as an Additional Language.
- Willingness to contribute to enterprise activities, enrichment and curriculum development.
