About The Role
To support the Finance Team in contributing to an efficient and accurate Accounts Payable Function to meet key business objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure all invoices received are properly authorised, coded, and posted accurately through accounts
- Investigation and resolution of supplier queries
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Assisting with generating supplier payment runs
- Manage and own your professional development in order to achieve your work objectives and your career and personal goals
Scope of Role:
Required to have a broad understanding of the various activities of the business in order to identify both incorrect allocation of costs and unnecessary expenditure. Will be free to use their own judgement on the appropriate allocation of certain items, however, when necessary they will seek confirmation from Senior Accounts Payable Clerk or Finance Manager.
Working Conditions:
This is a hybrid role with home and office-based working. Flexible working with core hours.
