An established international bank in London's West End is seeking a Financial Reporting (FINREP) Manager to join its finance function. This is a hands‑on role with oversight responsibilities, offering strong exposure across financial and regulatory reporting.

The Role

  • Delivering accurate and timely financial and management reporting, while supervising an Assistant Finance Manager and supporting broader finance initiatives.
  • Preparing and reviewing monthly and annual financial statements (UK GAAP / IFRS).
  • Delivering insightful variance analysis and financial commentary.
  • Managing corporation tax returns, VAT returns, and quarterly tax payments.
  • Supporting annual audits and preparing disclosure notes.
  • Strengthening internal controls and ensuring data integrity.
  • Overseeing day‑to‑day finance operations, including reconciliations and payments.
  • Assisting with FINREP regulatory reporting.
  • Driving process improvements and reporting efficiencies.
  • Providing cover for senior finance leadership when required.

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA).
  • 3+ years' experience in financial services.
  • Strong technical knowledge (FRS 102, IFRS 9).
  • Experience with tax (corporation tax & VAT).
  • Exposure to regulatory reporting (FINREP).
  • Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop team members.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable.
