About The Position

The International Baccalaureate (IB) is undergoing a bold digital transformation - and this is your opportunity to be part of it. As a Product Manager, Senior Specialist within our Digital Office, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of IB’s digital product ecosystem. This isn’t just about managing products - it’s about reimagining how we serve schools, educators, and learners worldwide through digital innovation.

The Digital Office sits at the heart of our product strategy, with end-to-end responsibility for customer-facing products across our existing platforms and new ventures. You’ll join a multidisciplinary, impact-driven team responsible for delivering meaningful, measurable outcomes in a fast-evolving educational landscape.

As a Product Management Senior Specialist, you’ll work on products in Assessment and Learner Experiences. You’ll drive innovation in how students experience and navigate their IB journey and shape how the organization harnesses data to inform innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Champion user needs and business goals by partnering with cross-functional stakeholders across the organization—aligning around shared priorities and delivering impactful outcomes.
  • Gather and synthesize insights from user feedback, research, market trends, technology capabilities, and internal expertise to inform product direction and innovation.
  • Define and drive product strategy and roadmaps for your portfolio—making smart trade-offs, setting clear priorities, and maximizing both product performance and return on investment.
  • Translate vision into action by developing clear, actionable product requirements and communicating them effectively across teams and leadership levels.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and UX Design to build and launch solutions that are technically sound, beautifully designed, and deeply valuable to users.
  • Embed a customer‑centric mindset by driving early and continuous feedback loops, grounding decisions in data, and designing for end‑to‑end journeys that truly serve our global users.
  • Continuously monitor the education and edtech landscape, staying ahead of competitor moves, emerging technologies, and shifting user expectations to keep our products relevant and future‑ready.
  • Mentor, coach, and inspire fellow product managers, helping to grow a high‑performing product culture that values curiosity, experimentation, and impact.

Qualifications

  • You bring proven experience in product management, ideally in enterprise B2B or B2B2C environments where stakeholder complexity and scale are key considerations.
  • You’re fluent in agile, iterative delivery, with the flexibility to adapt process to context—balancing discovery with execution to deliver meaningful outcomes.
  • You thrive in collaborative, cross‑functional teams, and have a track record of working seamlessly with software engineers, UX designers, and business leaders to ship high‑impact products.
  • You’re data‑informed and insight‑driven—comfortable analyzing usage data, interpreting research, and applying market signals to shape your roadmap and measure success.
  • You care deeply about user experience and are grounded in UX design principles that put the needs of educators and learners first.
  • You lead with curiosity, humility, and integrity—fostering a culture where questions are welcomed, learning is constant, and people feel safe to speak up and take risks.
  • You believe the best teams are built on psychological safety, trust, and inclusion, and you actively contribute to environments where people feel valued, heard, and empowered to do their best work.
