About the Job
The Paid Search Specialist role sits in our Global Marketing Team, providing a unique opportunity for someone to work on the development and execution of impactful paid search campaigns across diverse search engines, platforms and channels for a mission-driven organisation.
The Paid Search Specialist will work closely with Global Marketing colleagues to plan, execute and refine targeted digital marketing campaigns with the goal of driving targeted traffic, enhancing brand visibility and achieving measurable business objectives.
This opportunity can be offered on a Remote or Hybrid basis within the UK or the Netherlands, therefore working patterns will be discussed and considered on an individual basis. Please outline your requirements in your application. Remote workers will be required to visit the offices occasionally as per business needs and will be periodically invited to join the Global Team at an international office (most likely the Netherlands).
We offer a Flexible-Working Schedule with our core hours being 10am-12pm and 2pm-3pm, meaning you can flex your hours between 7am and 7pm to suit your professional and personal needs.
Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, and managing PPC search campaigns across multiple search engines (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads) to maximize website traffic, lead generation, and conversions.
- Implementing and managing paid digital media campaigns across multiple platforms (e.g., Meta, LinkedIn, etc.) to maximize website traffic, lead generation, and conversions.
- Conducting comprehensive keyword research to identify high-performing keywords and negative keywords to optimize campaign performance.
- Working with marketing colleagues to develop compelling and relevant ad copy and review creative assets, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and best practices.
- Monitoring and analyzing campaign performance, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations to improve key performance metrics such as click-through rates (CTR), cost per click (CPC), conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Continuously optimizing campaigns through A/B testing, bid adjustments, landing page optimization, keyword expansion, and other optimization techniques.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including copywriters, designers, and other members of the marcomms team, to align digital campaigns with overall marketing initiatives.
- Monitoring and managing campaign budgets, ensuring effective allocation and optimization of ad spend.
Qualifications
- Directly accountable for designing and executing paid digital media, PPC and SEO / Search Engine Optimisation campaigns within a current or previous role.
- In-depth working understanding of PPC advertising platforms, including Google Ads and Bing Ads.
- Proficient in using various social media and digital advertising platforms to place, run, monitor and report on campaigns.
- Proficient in using PPC tools, bid management platforms, and analytics tools to monitor and optimize campaign performance (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads Editor).
- Analytically minded with the ability to interpret complex data to drive actionable insights and recommendations.
- Solid understanding of keyword research, audience targeting, and ad copywriting best practices.
- Excellent team player with the ability to develop effective working relationships on a global scale across different time zones.
- Excellent written and verbal English (fluent).
