About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity within the IB Assessment and Operations team, contributing directly to the innovative Digital Assessment project. As an Assessment Operations Analyst (Digital Assessment), you’ll play a pivotal role in a transformational initiative that is redefining how our Diploma and Career Related Programme examinations are delivered and experienced globally. By embracing digital technologies and new approaches, you will help to streamline and enhance the efficiency, security, and accessibility of examination sessions.

As a key player in this digital transformation, you will work with teammates to optimise processes, participate in essential User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, and develop expertise in the DPCP Digital Examination System. You will play a leading role in delivering smooth technical support to schools and students globally, from familiarisation activities through to the high-stakes live DPCP examinations and your work will place you at the heart of a dynamic and forward-thinking project, driving positive change across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Configuration of examination session data to operational, regulatory and contractual deadlines.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of guidance and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) relating to examination delivery.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and operational readiness activities for system changes, including test execution and defect logging.
  • Monitoring progress of session activities to ensure on time delivery of results.
  • Collate and analyse assessment related data.
  • Respond to queries and provide operational and technical support to schools.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate operational records relating to digital examination delivery, incidents, exceptions and stakeholder contact.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of business as usual processes and post examination session analysis.
  • Contribute to post results issue activities such as enquiries upon results and material provision.

Qualifications

  • A degree or equivalent and/or relevant work experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Vitality to implement change, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work in smarter more focused ways.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate well across all levels of an organization, with the ability to build and foster working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Evidence of communicating effectively with stakeholders on complex, technical and sensitive matters.
  • Experience working with digital systems and platforms in an operational context.
  • Delivery of quality outcomes within defined deadlines.

Other Special Requirements:

  • Occasional weekend working is essential, in April, May, October and November, along with the ability to work flexibly across time zones to meet business needs.
  • Provision of on-call support (outside normal working hours) will be required during the examination weeks.
  • Fluency in French and/or Spanish is desirable.
