Responsibilities
- Onboarding: Manage all aspects of the onboarding process to ensure a smooth experience, including delivering engaging and welcoming induction sessions for new employees.
- Training: Take ownership of planning and coordinating impactful regional training programs—sourcing the best vendors, shaping content to meet business needs, and ensuring seamless delivery.
- Recruitment: Play a key role in recruitment by coordinating and administering activities, with the opportunity to get involved in the full end-to-end hiring process.
- Data Management: Keep our people data accurate and up to date across systems, maintain database integrity, and ensure payroll is informed of any changes—helping us run efficiently and effectively.
- Employee Engagement: Drive employee engagement by organizing creative monthly wellbeing activities and designing an inspiring annual calendar of events that promote health and happiness at work.
- Minute Taking: Take clear and accurate minutes during HR meetings, such as Union meetings, Sickness Reviews and Grievance hearings, ensuring timely distribution to relevant stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Utilize excellent IT skills across PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint and Excel to support various HR processes and reporting.
Qualifications
You’ll have excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the professionalism to handle sensitive information discreetly. Building strong, collaborative relationships will be central to your role, as well as delivering exceptional service to colleagues and stakeholders. While not essential, a CIPD qualification or working towards one is desirable; however, support with this is something which could be possible as part of the successful candidate’s professional development.
