BBC Research & Development in Salford, Greater Manchester, is seeking an experienced audio researcher to lead the audio research program, heading up the BBC Audio Research Partnership. The role covers periphony, spatial audio, Ambisonics, recording, encoding, reproduction, and mixing, as well as room acoustics and related areas like source separation and music information retrieval.

The position is based in our new R&D laboratory at Salford Quays, with applications closing at the end of July.
