Due to our ongoing success in the delivery of T&D projects both in the UK, we are growing and seek an experienced Senior Principal Protection & Control Engineer to join our team. This role can be based anywhere in the UK.
Working with Sophie Lee, Jelena Oka and the wider T&D team, being part of our P&C community, gives exciting opportunities to work on a variety of projects across multiple technical disciplines with clients nationwide e.g. National Grid.
You will lead and collaborate with a passionate team of like-minded engineers on projects up to 400kV. You will take projects from concept through detailed design and support them during construction and energisation.
Ideally you will have knowledge and experience with protection relays and relay panels, CT & VT sizing calculations, protection grading studies, and producing detailed AC/DC drawings. Also familiarity with UK electrical practices and standards and an understanding/appreciation of CDM regulations woudl be ideal.
