This is an exciting opportunity to step into a strategic and highly influential role within the Professional Services community. As a College Academic Business Partner, you will build on your existing knowledge of the University to provide senior-level operational and strategic support to Heads of School and academic leaders across the College. Working at the interface between academic and professional services, you will play a key role in delivering the University’s strategic ambitions through effective business planning, performance management, and service delivery.
The role offers the opportunity to broaden your institutional impact, strengthen cross-University networks, and contribute directly to College and University-wide priorities. In addition to supporting Schools, you will lead on a key strategic portfolio area for the College, which may include:
- Sustainability
- Transnational Education
- Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (including Charter Mark achievement)
- Civic Mission
- Welsh Language Compliance and Enhancement
- Leadership of specialist education teams
You will collaborate closely with fellow College Academic Business Partners and broader professional services teams to drive consistency, share best practice, and ensure successful delivery of institutional objectives. This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their leadership career, with the opportunity to shape strategy, influence senior stakeholders, and lead impactful change across the College and the wider University.
Full time (35 hours per week) and open ended. Appointments are usually made at the bottom of the scale, except in exceptional circumstances. Salary: £61,759 - £67,468 per annum (Grade 8). Closing Date: Thursday, 11 June 2026.
