Role
The Role is to act as a subject matter expert to the Deal team as they look to undertake Due Diligence of the opportunity.
This will involve a focus in three areas:
- Analysis of fixed assets – ie, commentary on the suitability, longevity, quality of the machinery that the business uses
- Contracts – ie, comparison of the commercials of contracts with others in the sector for Tier 1 aerospace subcontractors and comment on the products that the organisation manufactures in the context of end-customer use
- Market – analysis of Airbus, their key plane program behind the organisation’s businesses, UK footprint
Location: Knowledge of UK aerospace is required but the consultant could be located anywhere globally, as the work can be done remotely
Rate: Hourly/daily rates for advice and support will be dependent on the candidate's experience and expertise. Clearly the role requires expertise in aerospace, with experience of the market and commercial contracting being of prime importance, whilst expertise in the product and engineering elements is secondary
