Intermountain Health is seeking a Senior CMMS Engineer to lead the configuration, enhancement, and ongoing support of the EQ2 HEMS platform. As a key member of the Digital Technology Services (DTS) team, you will serve as the subject matter expert and strategic partner for our Clinical Engineering and Facilities operations, helping to optimize equipment lifecycle management and deliver digital experience improvements. This role combines technical expertise with cross-functional collaboration, including direct engagement with vendors, analysts, and business stakeholders to drive roadmap priorities, deploy enhancements, and ensure platform stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the configuration and optimization of EQ2 HEMS to support Clinical Engineering and Facilities teams.
- Provide Tier 2 support and escalation for complex technical issues.
- Implement and monitor integrations and interfaces with enterprise systems (e.g., Workday) using APIs and other data exchange mechanisms.
- Manage enhancement deployments, ensuring operational readiness.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to define and drive the strategic roadmap.
- Work directly with vendors to evaluate enhancement feasibility, align on patching and upgrade strategies, and troubleshoot issues.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to improve data-driven decision making.
- Support training and onboarding for local and regional teams using EQ2.

Required Qualifications
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with CMMS or EAM platforms (EQ2 HEMS highly preferred).
- Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills; ability to manage and improve complex configurations.
- Experience working with integrations (HL7, APIs, or similar).
- Familiarity with SQL, scripting languages (JavaScript, Python), and reporting tools.
- Experience with clinical/healthcare environments is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate with vendors and internal teams to drive results.
