Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - CT Surgery - Grand Junction, CO

About this role:
- As an Advanced Practice Provider in cardiothoracic (CT) surgery, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.
- You will practice at our CT Surgery Clinic and St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO.
- You will be on a PRN schedule that will be discussed with you upon hire.
- Assist surgeons in performing procedures during surgery.
- Perform Radial Artery and Saphenous vein harvesting.
- Place Foley catheters and invasive lines.
- Discharge Same Day or PACU patients.
- Daily team rounding.
- Clinic responsibilities include new H&P and surgical follow-ups.
- Q3 call includes rounding on weekends during call and being first call for the nursing floor.
How we’ll support you:
Compensation:
Our compensation consists of a base salary plus call pay. The salary is calculated on years of experience and can range from $125,000 - $193,000.

What you’ll bring:
- PA or NP degree from a fully accredited program.
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a First Assist PA or NP required – NO NEW GRADS.
- 1 year experience in CT with proven independence in EVH.
- Active, unobstructed Colorado license, or the ability to obtain one.
- BLS certification and DEA.
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.
