About this role: As an Advanced Practice Provider in cardiothoracic (CT) surgery, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. You would work with a team of 3 CT Surgeons, 2 surgical APPs, and 1 non-surgical APP at our Intermountain Health St. Mary’s Hospital. Your schedule will be Mon-Fri working 4, 10’s with paid 1:3 call for nights and weekends. Q3 call requirement includes rounding on weekends during call and being first call for the ED and nursing floor.
- Assist surgeons in performing procedures during surgery
- Perform Radial Artery and Saphenous vein harvesting
- Discharge Same Day or PACU patients
- Daily team rounding
- Clinic responsibilities include new H&P and surgical follow ups

What you’ll bring:
- PA or NP degree from a fully accredited program
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Surgery experience OR experience to include Endo Vein Harvesting is preferred
- Active, unobstructed Colorado license, or the ability to obtain one
- BLS certification and DEA
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
