About The Role
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Manager to lead and mentor a cross‑functional team of DevOps Engineers supporting the Voice Control Panel (VCP), Control Panel (CP), Control Panel Security (CPS), and CP Billing teams. This role is responsible for driving DevOps best practices, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering collaboration across multiple product and platform teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of DevOps Engineers across VCP, CP, CPS, and CP Billing teams, providing technical guidance and career development.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment processes for all supported platforms.
- Collaborate with product owners, development, QA, and security teams to ensure seamless integration, delivery, and operation of services.
- Drive adoption of DevOps best practices, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automated testing, monitoring, and incident response.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of production and pre‑production environments across cloud and on‑premises infrastructure.
- Standardize and optimize DevOps processes, tools, and documentation across all teams to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
- Manage resource allocation, project prioritization, and workload balancing for DevOps initiatives across multiple teams.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing within and between teams.
- Oversee compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards.
- Report on key DevOps metrics, project status, and operational health to senior leadership.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience managing DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering teams in a complex, multi‑product environment.
- Strong technical background in DevOps practices, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or similar), and automation tools.
- Hands‑on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Solid understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, etc.).
- Experience with Windows Server administration and IIS (Internet Information Services) management.
- Familiarity with security best practices, compliance, and incident management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, collaborative, and distributed environment.
Nice To Have
- Experience with telephony systems, billing platforms, or security‑focused DevOps.
- Familiarity with .NET Core, Angular, and microservices architectures.
- Experience managing hybrid cloud and on‑premises environments.
