The Sr. DevOps Engineer will maintain and enhance our AnyMeeting video conferencing and webinar service, ensuring reliable infrastructure and continuous delivery of new features. The role involves developing IaC automation, managing AWS accounts, and collaborating closely with development teams to improve application architecture. While primarily remote, the position requires occasional visits to the Bristol or London offices.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support and develop CI/CD processes across build platforms such as Jenkins, Octopus, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
- Design and implement infrastructure provisioning automation using Infrastructure as Code with Ansible and Terraform.
- Manage AWS account resources to ensure spending is under control.
- Troubleshoot test environment issues to unblock the progress of the development team.
- Take a leading role in incident handling, driving root cause analysis, and ensuring that fixes are delivered in a timely manner.
- Deploy applications across Linux, Windows, and Kubernetes environments.
- Automate routine and repetitive tasks.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Linux and comfort working at the command line.
- Ability to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
- Experience managing AWS account resources at scale.
- Experience deploying and maintaining Kubernetes clusters and workloads in a production environment.
- Proficiency in scripting tools or languages such as Go, Python, or Bash.
Bonus Skills
- Experience managing Windows Server infrastructure and IIS applications.
- Familiarity with VoIP and WebRTC, and understanding of network protocols such as SIP and RTP.
- Experience working with globally distributed and remote teams.
