About The Role

While primarily remote, this role may require occasional visits to the Bristol office or London.

Are you ready to dive into the world of Dev Ops and make a tangible impact?

We are looking for a proactive and eager Dev Ops Engineer who is keen to learn, grow, and get involved in exciting tasks that keep our infrastructure running smoothly.

This role is perfect for someone with a good knowledge of Kubernetes, IAC best practices and GCP.

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to deploy and maintain application infrastructure.
  • Assist in the development and support of tooling to streamline the deployment and maintenance of our products.
  • Work with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm and Argo CD to deploy applications from development through to production environments.
  • Support both in-house and third-party applications, including handling deployments, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Write and manage automation pipelines for application deployment and maintenance.
  • Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Document processes and best practices clearly and concisely.
  • What You Will Bring To The Role
  • 3-5 years of experience in Dev Ops Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience of cloud infrastructure primarily GCP.
  • Experience with Linux command line and networking, particularly within Kubernetes environments.
  • A willingness to dive into complex systems, ensuring that everything runs smoothly.
  • A strong understanding of security best practices.
  • Participating in on-call rotation.
  • Bonus Skills
  • Previous experience with tools such as Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, Rabbit MQ, Postgres, Ansible, Redis, and Jenkins.
  • An understanding of scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Go.
  • Experience working with distributed and remote teams.
