Our client, a rapidly growing principal contractor delivering some of the UK’s most exciting design-and-build projects, is recruiting a Project Manager to manage and deliver rail and infrastructure projects across the UK.
Rail experience would be an advantage, but candidates from other sectors such as infrastructure, utilities, construction, building services, or engineering will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the delivery of Civils, M&E projects from detailed design through to project close out.
- Take ownership of project delivery, ensuring objectives are achieved in line with programme, budget, quality, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and manage project programmes, resource plans, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project performance, costs, and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, industry standards, and health & safety regulations.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reporting.
- Support the successful delivery of both rail and non-rail infrastructure projects.
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Strong project delivery experience with responsibility for programme, budget, quality, and safety.
- Experience managing subcontractors and multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills.
- Commercial awareness and project financial management experience.
