The role:

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to take ownership of the commercial function across multiple projects. This is a high-impact position where you will work closely with senior leadership, influencing commercial strategy while remaining hands-on in project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all commercial aspects of projects from pre-construction through to final account
  • Manage cost planning, procurement, and subcontractor packages
  • Oversee contract administration (NEC / JCT experience preferred)
  • Drive cost control, risk management, and value engineering
  • Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Provide accurate reporting and forecasting to senior stakeholders

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Senior QS or Commercial Manager within M&E / building services / infrastructure
  • Strong contractual knowledge (NEC and/or JCT)
  • Commercially astute with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Comfortable working in a growing business where you can influence change
