Overview: We are seeking a Security Systems Design Engineer to join a leading telecommunications contractor delivering projects across the rail sector. This role focuses on the design of integrated security and communication systems, supporting major infrastructure programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop security system solutions including CCTV, Public Address (PA), Customer Information Systems (CIS), and PHP systems.
- Produce design documentation, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure designs meet project and client requirements.
- Support the delivery of security and communications systems across railway infrastructure projects.
Requirements:
- Experience designing security or communications systems (CCTV, PA, CIS, PHP or similar).
- Strong technical documentation and design skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and project teams.
- Rail sector experience is beneficial but not essential.
