Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified CompEx Electrician to support a variety of electrical works across sites. The role involves working on diverse installations, including critical power systems and hazardous area environments, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and commissioning of UPS systems for main gate operations
- Installation of electrical spurs for point-of-use hot water systems in welfare areas
- Full ATEX-compliant electrical fit-out of hazardous areas, including gas bottle storage facilities
- Ensure all work complies with current regulations, site standards, and safety procedures
- Carry out testing, inspection, and certification of completed works
- Work collaboratively with site teams and other trades to deliver projects efficiently
Requirements:
- Valid CompEx certification (Ex01–Ex04 preferred)
- Proven experience working in hazardous (ATEX) environments
- Strong background in industrial/commercial electrical installations
- Knowledge of current electrical regulations (e.g. BS 7671)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong commitment to health and safety
