Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified CompEx Electrician to support a variety of electrical works across sites. The role involves working on diverse installations, including critical power systems and hazardous area environments, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and commissioning of UPS systems for main gate operations
  • Installation of electrical spurs for point-of-use hot water systems in welfare areas
  • Full ATEX-compliant electrical fit-out of hazardous areas, including gas bottle storage facilities
  • Ensure all work complies with current regulations, site standards, and safety procedures
  • Carry out testing, inspection, and certification of completed works
  • Work collaboratively with site teams and other trades to deliver projects efficiently

Requirements:

  • Valid CompEx certification (Ex01–Ex04 preferred)
  • Proven experience working in hazardous (ATEX) environments
  • Strong background in industrial/commercial electrical installations
  • Knowledge of current electrical regulations (e.g. BS 7671)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong commitment to health and safety
