An Elite US firm is seeking a 2-6 PQE associate to join its Corporate Tax team in London.

Responsibilities:

  • You will work on a broad range of domestic and cross-border corporate tax matters, including:
  • Advising on the tax aspects of M&A, private equity, and corporate restructurings
  • Supporting finance, capital markets, and real estate transactions from a tax perspective
  • Drafting and negotiating tax provisions within transactional documentation
  • Advising on the tax implications of cross-border investments and group structures
  • Assisting clients with tax risk management and transactional structuring
  • Liaising directly with clients, counsel, and other internal practice groups
  • Conducting legal research and staying up to date with legislative and regulatory developments

Qualifications:

  • 2–6 PQE in corporate tax (either in-house or in private practice)
  • England & Wales qualified
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax principles
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
  • Strong academic background
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Commercially astute with strong client-facing skills
