Residential Solicitor

A well-established legal practice is seeking an experienced residential conveyancer to join its team. The role encompasses a range of responsibilities, including:

• Providing legal advice to clients on purchases, sales, re-mortgages, and transfer of equity matters.
• Managing ID verification, source of funds checks, gift deposits, and risk assessments.
• Preparing and issuing contracts.
• Handling mortgage redemptions and exchange of contracts.
• Ordering and reviewing property searches, as well as reporting findings.
• Examining and reporting on titles, including leasehold properties, and raising associated enquiries.
• Reviewing mortgage documents and management packs.
• Managing both new-build and second-hand property transactions.
• Building and maintaining relationships with referrers.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in residential conveyancing, with the ability to manage all aspects of a caseload independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional approach.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• A team player with the capability to work independently when required.
• Enthusiastic, motivated, and proactive in approach.
