I am working with a highly regarded global law firm recognised for its technical excellence, international reach and collaborative culture, to recruit a Senior Associate or Counsel – Derivatives to join its London Capital Markets practice.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced derivatives lawyer to work on complex, high-profile transactions, take ownership of key matters and develop strong client relationships while contributing to the continued growth of an established international practice.
Responsibilities
- Advising on complex derivatives transactions, structured derivatives, ISDA documentation, collateral arrangements and associated regulatory matters.
- Leading transactions, managing key workstreams and delivering commercially focused legal advice to clients.
- Building client relationships, supervising junior lawyers and supporting their professional development.
- Contributing to business development initiatives and identifying opportunities to grow the practice.
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor in England and Wales, although candidates qualified in other jurisdictions may also be considered.
- Experience at a top-tier UK, US or international law firm, specialising in derivatives and structured finance.
- Strong technical expertise in ISDA documentation, collateral arrangements, structured derivatives and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills, with proven experience managing complex transactions, developing client relationships and supervising junior lawyers.
