An elite international law firm is seeking a UK-qualified associate with 2–4 years of post-qualification experience to join its dynamic London-based Data, Privacy, and Cybersecurity team. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a specialist group that tackles some of the most complex and high-stakes issues at the intersection of law, technology, and global regulation. The team supports an exciting client base that ranges from disruptive start-ups to established global brands across industries including finance, emerging tech, life sciences, biotech, IoT, social media, and connected mobility.

The role offers exposure to the full spectrum of UK and EU privacy and cybersecurity law, including advising on cross-border data flows, incident response, regulatory investigations, commercial deals, and emerging digital frameworks such as the DSA, DMA, AI Act, and OSA. You’ll contribute to high-impact matters, often involving global regulatory bodies, and collaborate closely with colleagues in Brussels and across the U.S.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced, intellectually challenging environments and wants to build a long-term career at the forefront of data and tech regulation.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2–4 years of relevant post-qualification experience
  • Qualified solicitor in England & Wales
  • Solid grounding in UK data protection and cybersecurity frameworks
  • Strong academic background and excellent communication skills

It Would Be Great If You Also Have:

  • Experience working with or advising technology-led businesses
  • Exposure to regulatory investigations or policy work involving data protection authorities
  • Technical fluency or a strong interest in areas such as software, networks, or systems architecture
  • A proactive, curious mindset with a team-first approach
  • A U.S. LL.M. is a bonus, but not essential
