A number of elite US and international law firms in London are seeking exceptional Mid-Senior Lawyers (4+ PQE) to join their market-leading Corporate Insurance practices.
The Role:
- You will advise global insurers, reinsurers, and intermediaries on a wide range of corporate and transactional matters, including M&A, joint ventures, reorganisations, and regulatory issues.
- Work will often be cross-border and highly complex, offering exposure to top-tier clients and high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- MUST be a qualified Lawyer in England and Wales with experience at a leading law firm
- Advising on mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructurings in the insurance sector.
- Acting for insurers and reinsurers on joint ventures and strategic partnerships.
- Providing regulatory guidance (including UK PRA/FCA matters and international regimes).
- Collaborating closely with colleagues across corporate, tax, and finance teams.
- Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers, where applicable.
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor with 4+ years of post-qualification experience at a leading firm.
- Extensive corporate experience with a strong focus on the insurance sector.
- Excellent academic credentials and a commercially astute approach.
- Experience with cross-border transactions and international clients is highly desirable.
