Our client is a leading disputes practice in London and they're seeking an associate to join their Commercial Litigation team.

Responsibilities

  • You will work on a broad range of sophisticated matters, including:
  • Major restructuring and insolvency-related disputes
  • Claims against former directors and auditors of failed companies
  • Complex cross-border insolvency disputes
  • General commercial litigation
  • Government and PFI contract disputes
  • Professional negligence claims
  • Regulatory and disciplinary proceedings
  • Energy sector disputes

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in large-scale class actions.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years’ PQE in commercial litigation, ideally involving large and complex disputes (Candidates with slightly more or less experience will also be considered where competencies align with the role.)
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and project management skills
  • Early‑stage people management and business development capability
  • Excellent academic credentials, including a minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent)
